Lakbay Pusa (Tales from a Cat on the Road) is a playful series following a traveling cat as it wanders from place to place, discovering familiar landmarks, local scenes, and little moments along the way. Each print captures a different stop on the cat’s journey, blending the charm of each destination with a touch of feline curiosity and adventure

Relief printing with chine collé is a printmaking technique where an inked, carved block is pressed onto paper together with small pieces of colored paper. The chine collé pieces become part of the printed image, adding color and texture to selected areas. The process is done by hand, making each print subtly unique.

Because each impression is pulled by hand, no two prints are exactly alike. Small variations in ink coverage, texture, pressure, and placement of the chine collé pieces are natural characteristics of the handmade process and give each print its own subtle differences.
